Hi, friends! I am shaking things up a little bit to share some information from one of my clients, Osceola Arts! Osceola Arts is part of the Orlando Theatre Community and a place I grew up in. My family discovered Osceola Arts in 2002 when my brother was cast as Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol. They never got rid of us after that! I started volunteering backstage and running the lights for shows in 2008, and took them on as a photography client in 2011.
The Mission of Osceola Arts is to promote, cultivate and foster interest and participation in the arts by providing affordable and accessible programs and facilities that encourage artistic expression in the diverse community they serve.
Osceola Arts produces 7 Broadway Series shows, 4 Stage Left Studio Series Shows, 7 Children’s Theatre Shows, and multiple Ovation Singers and Big Band Concerts per year. They have many Visual Arts Shows throughout the year as well as an amazing Annual Art Festival. They provide classes in Art, Music, and Theatre!
Tonight, they open their Stage Left Studio Series Season with The Last 5 Years. This modern-day musical, written by Jason Robert Brown, ingeniously chronicles the five-year relationship of a couple, from meeting to break-up and break-up to meeting. I had the honor of photographing their final dress rehearsal last night! Take a look and go see this awesome show! Recommended for Mature Audiences.
