Hey friends! I am starting a new blog series! Over the next year, in between all sessions and weddings, I will be handing out some wedding advice from a wedding vendor’s point of view. My goal is to save you time, stress, and MONEY! Who doesn’t love that?
For those who are new to my blog and don’t know me, let me introduce myself! If you do know me, sorry! Stick around for some great content to come!
My name is Haleigh and I am the owner of Haleigh Nicole Photography. I’m a wedding and portrait photographer, dog-mom, girlfriend, and a (slight) workaholic. I’m a twenty-something, small town girl from Northern New Jersey, now residing in Orlando, Florida. Most days you can find me binge-watching Hulu, hanging out at the fitness studio, or planning my next grand adventure. I’m slightly sarcastic and overly passionate about my work. I live with my wonderful boyfriend, Jack, and have a new cocker spaniel pup named Rocky. Don’t worry, I’ll be doing a full photoshoot with him soon.
My Photography Journey
Photography found me in the theatre. I photographed live productions and headshots, learning my craft. In 2014, I made the leap into full time photography, and never looked back. Since then, I’ve photographed over 30 weddings, many families and couples, and have been featured in multiple publications. As a self-taught photographer, I never imagined it would take me to so many places, much less be able to call it my career. Today, I photograph weddings, families, and more all over the country.
Why I’m Giving Advice
I know what you’re probably thinking. “Haleigh, you’re just a wedding photographer. What could you possibly know about all the different parts of a wedding? How could you save me time, energy, stress, and MONEY? Aren’t you a vendor yourself? Are you just going to tell me to invest all of it into photography?”
In a nutshell, yes, I will tell you why investing in photography is important. However, after photographing over 30 weddings, I can tell you that part of my job is to photograph the details involved in your wedding, which includes many different wonderful vendors’ work. I’ve seen what works well together, what doesn’t work, what’s necessary, and what can be missed. I know the photos that you will cherish for years to come and ones that you will forget about or look at only on Facebook’s Timehop. I’ve seen it all and I want to share this knowledge with you wonderful viewers!
Join me on this journey into Advice From the Inside and learn the secrets to planning your wedding. See you soon!
